ZXClub.netAnyone interested in a Yorkshire Christmas meal? Post Posted: Oct 10th, '13, 15:17

So the time is coming, the time of madness, crazy people, insanity in the shops, dreadful music, fire-risk houses and horribly icy roads......should those of us in 'Gods Country' have a little get together and a bite to eat in December? If you're interested, state your interest in this thread, along with your location. I'll spread this about on a couple of other Z forums and if there's enough interest, I'll try to organise a pub/restaurant that's in the middle of everyone and a date and time.

Attendees:

350z-UK
1) tommybandit - Wetherby, West Yorkshire

zxclub.net
1) Mr & Mrs HollowPoint - Doncaster, South Yorkshire
2) TonyB & JanH - Filey, East/North Yorkshire
3) Mikey Bean - Doncaster, South Yorkshire

zclub.net
1) amocrace - Darlington, North Yorkshire
2) chappo - Wetherby, West Yorkshire

lol, I doubt very highly either of our Zs will be out to play at that time of year mate. The 300zx is about to run out of Tax and go into it's Winter Hibernation (Need to talk to you about pulling the engine actually) and whilst the 280zx has tax on it until February now, I reckon it'll be mid-restoration by December. At least I hope it will be!

So quite a bit of interest for a Thursday night across the forums and there are still plenty of names I fully expect to see come with us, who've not yet said yes. Obviously it stands to reason that if folks from the North East, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire etc. want to join us they are most welcome and of course, significant others and children are most welcome too :D

Sorry to hear that mate.

Any more for any more, got quite a bit of interest straight away, so suspect this could turn into quite a big meet, which would be great.
